What is the BeFreePima Youth Crew

BeFreePima Youth Crew is a group of youth that meets once a month to plan and develop different kinds of prevention efforts and events to help promote a drug and alcohol free lifestyle to other youth across Pima County. And it's fun!

Are you 12 to 25 years old? As a member, you should be willing and able to commit to attending one meeting per month! Additional opportunities to participate in outreach events and prevention activities are available as well. The BeFreePima Youth Crew is a part of the Pima County Community Prevention Coalition and works through a community-based, community-driven model to help prevent youth alcohol and other drug use. Every 4-6 months officers will be either voted on by the youth group or appointed in rotations of responsibility.

Officer positions are Chair Person, Secretary, Communications Coordinator and Meeting Assistant. Call 520-205-5281 for further information on these positions and their stipend payments.
